Theatricats Maine Coons is in the process of DNA gene testing all breeding males for one of the genes responsible for Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy ( HCM ) . Any males found to be carrying the gene will be neutered and either kept or placed as pets. All new owners will be made aware of the DNA results.
